For sale is a nice used Air-Cooled Leybold Turbovac 360 with a 4″ ASA Inlet (9″ OD Flange), inlet seal ring, NT-150/360 Controller and 5 meter turbo cable. This turbo has ceramic bearings installed and low hours from its last rebuild. Blank-off pressure after one hour of pump down is 5.6 x 10-7 torr. It should reach a much lower pressure with a mild bakeout and longer run time. This turbo is super clean as it has only been used as an Ion Gauge testing station. The Start Stop switch was replaced, but the button covers are missing. (See Photos) We have used the controller without the button covers with no trouble. You will need to provide an instrumentation power cord, as we are currently out of them. No power cord is included. The inlet flange is 9″ OD, has 8 – 3/4″ bolt holes on a 7.5 bolt circle. Inlet flange is smooth, but a seal ring is provided as shown. The inlet o-ring seals, but should be replaced as it is a bit flat. NOTE: The turbo has a cooling fan mounted at its base. The purchaser should mount the turbo so that there is space under the fan assembly for proper cooling air-flow. Do not operate the turbo with the fan setting on a surface as that will prevent air cooling and will damage the turbo pump. We had the turbo hanging off an adapter flange assembly in a frame.
