I hooked the Gate Valve up to my air compressor, and it opened and closed smoothly. The Control Unit powers up, and the pump started spinning when I pressed the Start button. I only let it accelerate for a few moments, just to make sure it was spinning, and then I pressed the “Stop/Reset” button. The pump rotor spins very smoothly.
