This item is one of four turbo vacuum pumps from my friend the vacuum physicist. In his discussion with Duniway, they said he could spin up the pump for no more than 10 seconds at atmospheric pressure to verify the grease had not solidified in the pump. He did so, and the pump spun up and down OK, but he did not attach it to a rough pump to see how much of a vacuum it could pull in total. This unit comes with a manual, the cooling fan, cables and controller. The intake port is 4 1/2 inch conflat, and it has an adapter to 2 3/4 inch conflat. It has a covered KF25 auxiliary port on the side and a KF16 exhaust port to connect to the mechanical pump.
